Georgia on my mind?

So once again, I don't have a ton of time, so here is a quick update on my week!
Sister Knudsen --Sister Hudson

The Brunswick sisters and sister Craig!

On Tuesday we headed off to our trade off with the Brunswick sisters! I got to be with Sister Stoddard in Brunswick! We had so much fun! She is currently in training, and it was the first time being in the area by herself so she was really nervous! But! She did so good, and we didn't even get lost! The next morning on Wednesday we had District meeting! Turns out the Zone Leaders decided to attend that day as well! So Elder Calap had 2 additional guests at his meeting.... And then! To all of our surprise! President and Sister Craig showed up! All we needed was the assistants and we would have had a full house! We had a wonderful district meeting and we learned so much! Afterwards we decided to go to lunch with us 3 sets of sisters, and president and Sister Craig wanted to join us! We headed to a Mexican restaurant and all had a blast! I love President and Sister Craig so much! After lunch we had our second trade off with the other Brunswick sisters! Sister Hudson came with me to Lake Butler! We found a new investigator and then attended Book of Mormon class with our baptism date Priscilla! The members love her so much, and she loves them! We are so so excited for her to progress and be baptized!

The adventures of Sister Mann and I in providence!

After all the trade offs, sister Mann and I took a whole day to work in Providence! We strapped our bikes to our car and headed out to find new investigators! We biked and drove all over the place! We found
ourselves in some very ghetto areas, we even came across a trailer without walls and was being used as a dump! I'm going to miss the south! We had a great time though, and found 2 families we are going to start teaching! Yay! On Sunday Priscilla came to church again! Each time she comes she meets more and more members and loves them all so much more! She can hardly wait for her baptism on the 7th! She told us
she invited her family, and that her kids told her they would come and support her! Yay! Everything is falling into place! Lake Butler is amazing! We had yet another of the young women here prepare and leave for her mission! I have loved getting to know Brooke Starling and Madison Archer! They are great examples and are both in the MTC now! The lords work is progressing and it's amazing to be part of it! I love this gospel!!!!

This lady has 2 horses... Or dogs, their so big I can't tell...

Ship Shape and Bristol Fashion!

This week was one good thing after another!
Tuesday! Lake City Zone Meeting! Best Zone Meeting I have ever had!!! My training to the zone was all about helping our investigators pray! It was amazing! That's something I personally wanted to work on with
those that we teach, and being able to give a training on it helped me so much! President and sister Craig decided they wanted to attend, I guess they thought I needed to be more nervous about my training! But!
It was amazing! The Lake City Zone is incredible! Everyone had so much enthusiasm and was excited for my training! After the meeting I had, yet again, another trade off with Sister Anderson! This has been our
4th trade off together! It has been so so much fun to be with each other again! We had a great time talking about our favorite things we learned on our missions! I love being a missionary!!!

On Wednesday we finished our trade off, and then! Sister Mann and I headed to Kingsland! We slept over with the Kingsland Sisters, and they were able to provide us with air mattresses! Woo! We had a good
time, and early Thursday morning we had.... Another Zone Meeting! So I got a second go at my training I gave for Lake City Zone for the Kingsland Zone! Much better the second time though! ;) after the
meeting we went to lunch with all of our Kingsland zone sisters! Both Zone Meetings were wonderful! It's also wonderful to be done! Haha

On Friday we had another trade off! But, this time it was with a different set of Sister Training Leaders! Sister Miller and Sister Bolos from Gainseville Zone! Sister Miller came to Lake Butler with me
and we had so much fun! She used to serve in Macclenny so it was like having her back in the zone again!!
Sister Miller
Sister Anderson

On Saturday we were able to meet with Priscilla again!  We read a chapter in the Book of Mormon and invited her to baptized on November 7th!  She was hesitant, and told us she would still think about it! I

was sad to hear that answer but we invited her to church tomorrow and to really think about it. She came to church on Sunday and brought her grandkids with her. She stayed all 3 hours, and today she seemed way
more comfortable with everything! The members here have been taking her right in under their wings so that's always helpful! A few hours have passed away since after church and... We get a phone call for Priscilla! She told us she has some good news and told us to go ahead and sign her up for baptism on November 7th!!! Wow!!!! Sister Mann and I did a little happy dance (during and after the phone call) hahah it was amazing we are so so excited for her! She is truly ready and she is making the best decision on her life!!!

I absolutely love being a missionary and seeing individuals change everyday! I am so grateful for this time that I have to be a Sister Training Leader and to get to know all of the sisters so well! I learn so much from every one of them and it's so incredible!

Hope everyone has a good week!!!

A week full of tender mercies!

Tuesday we had district meeting in Macclenny. We headed over there and had an amazing time! There was a member in the Ward who surprised us all with lunch! She just showed up and treated us all lunch for free.
It was so sweet!

Wednesday we had MLC! We headed out to Jacksonville at 7:00 in the morning. We had an amazing leadership meeting. 4 out of the 5 Sister Trainer Leaders in the mission are new! It was a wonderful first time
experience for all of them. Sister Craig actually asked us if we could demonstrate a role play for everyone! It was Sister Manns first time and we were pretty nervous about it. But the time came for us to give a role play in front of all the leadership in the mission and it went really well! We had all kinds of trainings about helping our investigators receive their answers to their prayers, and to understanding the scriptures! It was all so good!!

Thursday we went with Sister Ginger to help a member of the Ward clean her house. After that we got some lunch, and then continued to visit investigators and members for the next 4 hours! She's the best! She
always takes us out and helps us get work done! We visited with Rusty and Sandra Wade. They had some Halloween decorations up so they had us try on their witches hat, it was was too small. They had a playset for their grandkids, the same one Sister Mann and I had when we were young, so naturally we took our turns playing in it and ringing the doorbell! Haha

Football season is coming up again, and oh my goodness, I thought football was bad in Utah, but No, you don't know football until you come to Florida! Just imagine a whole state full of my dad! Sister Mann is from Missouri, and the Gators just played them on Saturday so that's all we heard all week! Haha

This weekend was by far the highlight of the week! We have a lot of investigators that are slowly progressing. We decided we want to find individuals that are ready for this gospel and who are ready to really commit! On Saturday we had a great Golden Hour! We had picked out a street to knock in advance and the first door we knocked on we were able to have a lesson and set a return date! Yay! Miracle! And then the second door we knocked on this guy answered, he looked at us for a second and then started explaining how he lost his Book of Mormon! And that he used to be taught up in Georgia before he moved! He asked us for another book, and we invited him to church, he was currently sick but he said next week he wanted to go! He said out of all the religions the Mormons always made the most sense!! What!! That never
happens!! We are so excited for him! Later that day we dropped by some members to use the bathroom and refill our water bottles! Haha, yeah that happens often. And the members were telling us about a part
member family that had a baptism date in the past and was almost baptized! We got their info and we are going to try them this week! We also have 3 other part member families we are trying to get started
with! The non-member children are active and come to church every week! It's just a matter of finding a time to teach them and prepare them for full membership!! We are so excited! So much good is happening here!

On Sunday our neighbor Priscilla finally came to church! We have been trying for weeks and she always had something pop up and stop her, but this week she was able to come. She is used to the "southern" type
churches around, so our church was going to be a big change for her. She brought her grandson and the whole Sacrament meeting she was observing everything! The speakers that day were really great and she
really liked what they said! We took her grandson to primary and in the hallway he recognized a friend from school and ran off with him! It's good to know he already had a friend! We had Sunday school and
relief society with Priscilla. All the members flocked over her and really made her feel welcome! After church, she told us it was a lot better than she thought it would be! I guess that's a good thing! Haha
her grandson had a lot of fun too! She told us she learned a lot today and that she wants to come back! We are so so excited!! We are meeting with her again this Wednesday!!

This next week is going to be crazy! Since we are the Sister Training Leaders for 2 zones, we have to give a training in both zone meetings! Which are both this week! And if that wasn't busy enough we have 2
trade offs as well! Wow! We are so excited! I'll tell ya how it all goes this next week! I love you all!!!

-Our investigator gave us one of her chickens eggs...And this is what missionary's shoe goes through in 6 months Good thing I have new ones!

Transfers! New companion! And Conference!!!

Sister Mann with Sister Knudsen
Wow wow wow

Very busy week! First off we had transfer meeting! We had some of the members here drive us out early in the morning so Sister Dixon could get to the trainers meeting! We were only there for a few minutes when
Sister Mann came! It's a little weird being companions with someone you came out with, but we had have so much fun! The transfer meeting was a little bit different this time, instead of waiting with the other missionaries, they pulled all of us Sister Training Leaders out to meet with Sister Craig! We got to be one on one with her and talk about how we can be better examples! We got to discuss a lot of things related to our call and ask lots of questions! It was the best! After that we have lunch, had all the departing testimonies, and headed back to good ole Lake Butler! That night was young women's and Book of Mormon class, so Sister Mann got to meet quite a few of the members!

Then General Conference!!!
Each year I wonder how conference could get any better, and then it DOES!!! This year was by far the best! I loved all the talks about women, and mothers! And also the talks about rebuilding our faith and membership! We have so many investigators we can't wait to show these talks to!! I especially loved Elder Larry Lawrence! He talked about taking time aside to ask the lord, what we lack? I loved all the different examples he shared about how the spirit speaks to us! I have really learned how to listen to the spirit on my mission! It's amazing to me how individual and personal the spirit can answer us! I hope all of you have had a chance to ask the lord about a way you can grow and improve! I also really love the talk about ponderizing! It was an answer to prayer in itself! In our mission we already chose a scripture to memorize each week! And earlier this week I was thinking about how I would love to keep that tradition after my mission, I never knew that was I was thinking about was indeed ponderizing!!! Yay!! Also! Elder Keetch!!! Wow! I had forgot about him being in Area Seventy and when his name was announced I was so excited! He did such a good job it was amazing! I might have to use his "barrier" story when we teach people about the importance of the commandments!!

We had a slow week with all the changes and such, but now that things are settled down, we are ready to hit the ground running!  Sister Mann and I have been thinking about what we need to do to really help this area grow and flourish! We want to work a lot with the members and part-member families! As well as finding! I am so excited to see what this week will bring! Sister Mann and I have been having a lot of fun! We've been reminiscing about the good old days back in the MTC! Everyone keeps asking Sister Mann how long she has been out on her mission, and we both just laugh and say we came out together! It's so much fun! Haha
