Doing Good is the best way to share the gospel!

These last 2 p-days have been very busy, but here is all the updates y'all missed out from! :)

We have had one powerful week after Another! But this week was probably the best! On Monday we had zone pday and went to Lake City and played ultimate frisbee!! So much fun! We decided to go by Walmart since we don't have one in Lake Butler, AND I ran into my old investigators from Deep Creek! Alex and Joanna! It was amazing to see them again! We ended up having a lesson with them right there in Walmart! Then as if that wasn't enough, we ran into one of my favorite members in the parking lot! Sister Aiello! It was an amazing day!
Tuesday got even better! We had district meeting and it was all about the spirit! We have some missionaries who are dying this transfer so we made sure to get a last district picture with all of them! We had a quick break for lunch then we meet back for interviews! While president was interviewing us, we had a senior couple and Sister Craig give us trainings! We had trainings about health and fitness, about taking care of our cars and bikes, and also, a training about how to control our stress and keep ourselves improving! At the end of Sister Craig's training she pulled up a picture of me the first day I came to the mission!!! I was shocked about how long ago that was! And how much I have changed since! That was my exact year mark that day and there was no better way to celebrate then to take a look back and see how far I have come! Then I had my interview with president and talked more about some of my "last 6 month goals" we had a great conversation and I got some amazing insights! Then while my companion was in interviews, I got to sit with Sister Craig and talk more with her about our missions! It was wonderful! I love President and Sister Craig so much!

On Wednesday we had an early morning and headed straight to Brunswick Georgia for district meeting. It was fantastic! We had trainings about how to work with the members more and how to truly help them progress! After the meeting we had lunch with our Brunswick sisters, then had our trade off! I was again with Sister Greear! I love her so much, she is currently training a new missionary and is doing a great job! We had a lot of fun on our trade off, and had a ton of aha moments about missionary work!
Saturday was another amazing day! We did some service for the Wades, their son has a new shop so we helped them repaint it and get it all ready! Brother Wade doesn't attend church, but he loves the missionaries, we persuaded him to come to stake conference because all us missionaries are singing! And to our surprise! He accepted! In fact we actually drove up with them to save miles! Stake conference was amazing! There was some really great speakers! One of which was a sister missionary who has been home for about 2 weeks. It was really weird to hear her speak, cause it just hit me how fast time will fly by, and how soon that will be me! Ahh! I don't want to go home! After the conference I got to see more of the members I served with from Deep Creek! And after it all, Brother Wade asked if he could have a copy of the notes sister Dixon and I took!! Wow! Miracles!

On Sunday we drove to Stake conference with Emily and Ethan West, their little brother Dalton is being baptized this Tuesday! After the conference we joined them for lunch and finished our lessons with Dalton! He is so excited! We came home and decided to check our miles. This month we have 2 extra trade offs we have to do, in addition to all the trade offs we have already done... Turns out we have 50 miles for the rest of the month!! That means we will be biking all day everyday!! :) who hoo! We decided to try our neighbor Priscilla and we had an amazing experience with her! Her grandkids are staying with her, and they are all so hyper! We came over and the house was a mess and she was really tired, without asking we just started to help her sweep the floor and fold Laundry! She was so grateful! We brought "Finding Faith in Christ" for her to watch with all her grandkids and she loved it so much! She can feel the spirit with everything we share with her! After the lesson we were about to leave, but she called us back and invited us to have dinner with them. Durning dinner she told us she has seriously been thinking about being baptized!! She told us that no one from other churches would of helped her out like what we did, and if that's what we stand for, that's what she wants to be apart of! She is going to come to Daltons baptism with all her grandkids on Tuesday! It's amazing what a little bit of service can do! Going about doing good is the best way to share the gospel! I love being a missionary!!

Elder Dube from the quorum of the seventy came for training!

We had the best pday I've ever had! Some of the members here Sandra and Rusty Wade took us to a pond in Lake City! We got some worms and crickets and headed fishing! We caught about 10 fish each! It was a perfect time! Afterwards we headed to Texas Roadhouse and had some lunch! After pday we meet with our sisters from Macclenny and had our trade off with them! Sister Anderson used to serve in Lake Butler so it was fun for her to come back! This has been our 3rd trade off together! We have been following each other around the mission!
Sister Anderson and I

Then on Wednesday we had MLC (Missionary Leadership Council) with ELDER DUBE!!! It was amazing!! He has just recently been called to the quorum of the seventy! Him and his wife stayed a few days with our mission and we got to meet with him as all the leadership in the mission! He gave us great training on how we can be better Sister Training Leaders, and better Zone Leaders and how to help the other missionaries! That night we had Book of Mormon class. Our investigator Priscilla came, and we had a member join us for a lesson afterwards! It went wonderfully! She decided she wants to come to church! Yay!

Then on Thursday we had a busy day! We had a Zone Conference with Elder Dube! We got together as the Lake City and Gainesville zone and had lots of trainings! We got to hear trainings from Elder Dube, Sister Dube, President Craig, and Sister Craig! They all trained us how we can become better teachers, and how to follow the spirit more to find the needs of others! Then we did some role plays and practiced teaching and testifying of the truth! One of the things that Elder Dube shared is how we are assigned to our missions. He was able to observe the apostles assigning missionaries and he said that missionaries are assigned to the mission President... Not the actual mission area! That was very interesting! Now I know I definitely needed my President that I have now!

On Friday after we had weekly planning, we drove to Jacksonville so that we could meet up with the Brunswick sisters! They had just finished their Zone Conference so we dropped by and traded off with them. I had my trade off with sister Smith! She has been out in the mission for about 3 weeks and she absolutely loves it! We had a great time in Lake Butler!

On Saturday we went by to the Moods! None of their family is members of the church, and she invited us by to meet them all! She has a great family and we had a lot of fun with them. A few of them had to leave but her sister and daughter stayed. We ended us sharing with them a message and it lead to them asking a lot of questions and really opening up to us! We had some really great discussions and they are going to have missionaries in their home town help them with service! Yay!

The spirit of Elijah is powerful!

Well to start off the week we had a trade off with our sisters in Waycross Geogia! We had district meeting and then I went with Sister Gagnon to Waycross. We had a wonderful time! We tried a potential investigator and ended up having a lesson with him and his whole family! They said they might come to church! Yay! The next morning we had service with some of the members there, then we had to take a survey for the mission! We have Elder Dube from the Quorum of the Seventy coming to tour our mission! So we are preparing for him!
Sister Dixon and I got drenched!!
We finished the trade off, and the next day we went to help one of our investigators paint their shed! We came all ready in our jeans, but then we ended up just talking and having a lesson! It went very well though! That night we had a miracle! We used to work with the Holder family. The mother isn't too interested in what we have to share but her husband was. We ended up dropping them because they weren't progressing. But we decided to check back up on them! The mom wasn't home, but we sat on the porch and had a great talk with her husband Buddy. He feels like he's not receiving a lot from his current church, and he wants to do better with his family. We talked to him about what this gospel has done for us and our families, and we recommitted him to read the Book of Mormon and come to our church. He accepted! He knows he feels the spirit each time we come by and he wants to truly find out now! We are meeting with him and his family again on Saturday!
On Friday we had our weekly planning. And then we did some service for the Moods! They are having a huge family gathering and we helped them clean and get all ready for it! Afterwards we had a lesson with them about prayer! And how important it is for us to always have a prayer on our heart and to really share our thoughts with God! That night we went to teach our neighbor. Her daughter and grandkids just moved in with her and we sat them all down and taught them the Ten Commandments! They might start coming to church with Priscilla!

Then on Saturday we found a new investigator! Her name is Haley and she is in between churches! We met her a few weeks ago and met with her again. We taught the restoration and about the Book of Mormon. Turns out, her grandmother is reading the Book of Mormon too! She told us her grandma reads it all the time, so she was very interested to start reading it as well! After that we went by to sister Dorothy to help her with family history! She hasn't done it for years and all of her records are on floppy disks! That was a challenge! But amazing too! The spirit of Elijah is so powerful! As a Ward all the members are trying to find 900 names to take to the temple and complete their work! So exciting! That night we met back up with the Holder family! We brought Meet the Mormons and decided to have a movie night with them. Buddy loved it! And Kelly his wife even cried at the end! They are slowly making their way to change and accept the gospel! They have heard a lot of anti-information but the movie really helped them see that those aren't true!! It was a fantastic night!!
